Our Work

Water and Sanitation

MA. My Anchor Foundation has been proactively involved in establishing Community Water Centers (CWC) to supplement the efforts of the government in order to provide potable drinking water to marginalized and underprivileged community groups.

CWC is a community-based water distribution system wherein ground water/surface water or supply water is treated by filtration system/Ultra Violet rays/ Reverse Osmosis technology to make it safe and germ free thereby helping to maintain good health. The CWC is handed over to the community / Panchayat; livelihood is provided in the process.

Sanitation

Household toilets have been made under CSR and by Individual Contribution. The toilets are tiled and onsite disposal is created in each. The beneficiary is encouraged to pay at least 10% of the total cost by means of labour or money. This helps to build ownership and the household takes responsibility. School toilets have also been renovated in village schools in Rajasthan.

Extensive awareness campaign is undertaken to sensitize the beneficiaries so that acceptability is ensured.
