Water and Sanitation

MA My Anchor Foundation has a team of experts & dedicated members. We implement sustainable Community Water Centres (CWC) to complement the efforts of the government in driving development and providing potable drinking water to the needy in villages, slums and market places.

CWC is a community-based water distribution system wherein groundwater/surface water or supply water is treated by filtration system/ultraviolet rays/reverse osmosis technology to make it safe and germ-free to sustain good health. The CWC is handed over to the community/panchayat for sustainable operation & providing livelihood.

Safe Habits, Better Health

Together, we have the power to create a world where every human has access to the basic right of clean toilets and hygienic living. MA helps in the construction of new toilets and renovation of dilapidated ones while simultaneously creating an onsite disposal system. More than 1 Lac people have been benefitted from the water and sanitation interventions.

To build ownership and create awareness, extensive awareness campaigns are conducted. Beneficiaries become stakeholders and the process helps in sustainability

Water Sanitation Awareness Campaign in Pahari Village

Our foundation organised an awareness campaign in Pahari Village, with the
primary goal of educating the local community about the significance of safe drinking water. This
campaign aimed to emphasise the critical importance of clean and safe drinking water for the overall
health and quality of life of the residents.

One of the most impactful elements of the awareness campaign was the presentation of a Nukkad
Natak. The team of performers portrayed the challenges and consequences of not having access to
safe drinking water. Through engaging storytelling and dramatic performances, the audience was able
to connect with the message on a personal level. The Nukkad Natak effectively conveyed the message
that clean water is not just a basic necessity but a fundamental right that impacts everyone.
